Welcome to Carbon-bits.com web site. We are specialists in the manufacture of carbon fibre composite mouldings utilising our own “in house” developed moulding technology.
This unique technology and process offers “one off” and “low volume” carbon composite products at affordable prices, due partly to the fact that we do not need expensive mould tooling.
Carbon-bits .com have specialised initially in offering a range of carbon fibre composite panels for the Caterham 7 / Lotus Seven. Most of the moulded carbon fibre composite panels are a direct replacement for the more traditional aluminium panel, with the added advantage of increased rigidity and strength, increased corrosion resistance, a weight reduction of about 40 to 50 %, plus on most products, Carbon-bits.com’s unique and exceptionally high gloss smooth finish on both sides.
Our range for the Caterham 7/Lotus 7 has steadily increased to now include just about every panel that was originally in aluminium. We can supply exterior side skins, all interior panels, bonnets, scuttle, tunnel tops, wings, aeroscreens as well as small accessories such as rear light blocks, battery cut-off switch crown, sill and stone protectors plus a wide range of useful accessories to aid the fitment of our carbon parts or to just help customise your 7.
